It’s Not All About The Food

While we would be the first to admit we are all about the food here at Wasted Kitchen & MFT, in a kind of it’s all we ever talk about kind of way & in our aim to support fellow local food businesses. But it’s also most definitely not just all about the food because our local area has tons of other amazing non food businesses doing great things & being super inventive in these difficult times. Here are a few who have inspired us &/or who we’ve shopped with recently

Rachel from Top Hat & Tales has started ‘Bookshop on a Bike’ Delivering great reads on her bicycle, she’s also had a lovely write up from Faversham Life which you can read here https://favershamlife.org/stop-press-bookshop-on-a-bicycle/…

Suki from @theprintblock has raised over £2000 for the Trussell Trust food bank through her Offcut Project which is an open submission initiative with limited edition prints to buy here https://www.theprintblock.com/section873030.html

Meanwhile having the extra time & energy to spend on our gardens has meant local plant & seed supplies have been eagerly anticipated Dave, Chris & Laura at Plastic Free plant nursery edibleculture are doing local deliveries & a Click and Collect service too, they have so many seedlings coming on, see the photo!

And Richard’s Plants regulars Faversham Market are also delivering around Faversham, keeping our spirits up & our gardens looking gorgeous!
