Make Yourself A Bramble Cocktail
First - make your Blackberry Liqueur - see here. Or skip down the page for a quick version when blackberries are in season...
Then - Shake 50ml gin, 25ml lemon juice and 10ml sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker or jar with a decent amount of ice cubes. Strain into a glass full of ice. Drizzle 25ml of your Blackberry Liqueur over the top. Pop in a lemon slice and a blackberry and off you go... Also works with Raspberry, Blackcurrant and Cherry Liqueurs.
Quick Seasonal Bramble - Crush a handful of blackberries in the bottom of a glass. Top up with ice. Shake 50ml gin, 25ml lemon juice and 10ml sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker or jar with a decent amount of ice cubes. Strain into the glass on top of the blackberries.
